Transcord v1.0 Has Been Released

After its beta development period, Transcord has officially been released as v1.0!

This release includes updates to AI-related features, along with improvements focused mainly on the user interface.

Changes

Updated AI model

The default AI model has been changed to OpenAI GPT-OSS 20B.

Google Gemma 4 26B A4B, which was previously available, has been removed from the available options in this release.

We have also improved an issue that recently caused translations to fail due to server load ✨

Some users can select the AI model they want to use from the AI page in Settings. You can also adjust the reasoning effort based on the selected model.

Added custom instructions

Custom instructions have been added for some users, allowing them to tell the AI about their preferred tone or conversation context when translating.

You can save instructions from the Settings page, or enter instructions in the translation modal to apply them only to the current translation. Saved instructions are also applied to text translations and message translations.

Updated the Settings page

We revised the structure of the Settings page to make it easier to find the settings you need.

The Info page shows the Bot and AI server response times, as well as uptime. Links to the support server and website have also been added.

Improved feedback features

The translation error feedback screen is now available in multiple languages. You can also send opinions and requests about Transcord directly from the Settings page.

Improved translation stability

We updated the models used for translation and now check the format of data returned by the AI more strictly.

This reduces missing fields and format issues in translation results, making translations more stable even for complex messages.

Lastly

Transcord is being developed with the goal of helping everyone communicate naturally across language barriers.

We sincerely thank everyone who used the beta version and sent us feedback. We will continue working to improve translation quality and ease of use.

Thank you for your continued support of Transcord.
